OUR BEACH RECOMMENDATIONS

... A beach for every desire ...

Brusc depends on Six-Fours-Les-Plages. This seaside resort has 18 km of coastline alternating with sandy beaches and wild coves, small marinas and preserved forest.

Swimming near the Bastide de Font-Clarette

La Plage du Cros (15 minutes on foot from the Bastide, less than 5 minutes by car or hardly more by bike)

It is a sandy beach 600 meters from the small port of Brusc, along the Cros ledge, with a magnificent view of the Embiez island!

This beach is ideal for families , with a very gradual entry into the water.

This beach is also equipped with showers and toilets in season.

Swimming is supervised during the tourist season.

Possibility to eat on site.

❤️ We like: The picnic on the beach while admiring the sunset.

Charmettes Beach (15 minutes on foot from the Bastide, less 5 minutes by car or hardly more by bike)

It is a very small gravel beach in the extension of Cros beach, less crowded in summer than that of Cro s.

In the off season, it is very popular with windsurfers in the event of a mistral!

This beach is also equipped with showers and toilets in season.

Swimming is supervised in summer.

Possibility to eat on site.

❤️ We like: The on-site rental of kayaks, paddles & windsurfers.

The islands of Petit and Grand Gaou (45 minutes on foot from the Bastide, 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes by bike)

When you get there, you have the feeling of being at the end of the world, with the sea as far as the eye can see…

Just before the Ile du Petit Gaou, you will find on your left a small gravel beach .
We like : Easy access to the water for paddleboarders, kayaks etc ...(possibility to park your vehicle nearby and more space on the beach to deposit your paddle).

The main beach of Grand Gaou, peninsula only accessible by a bridge (pedestrian only) is located at the end of the island (opposite side of the bridge). It is a tiny sandy beach . Swimming is gently sloping and the setting is really pleasant with a magnificent view of the Embiez island which is only a few strokes from the beach.

❤️ We like: Ideal for practicing snorkeling (diving with mask, snorkel and fins) , small paradisiac coves by going around the island (it takes less than 30 minutes for a complete tour).

The coves of Mont Salva (25 minutes on foot from the Bastide, 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike)

These beaches deserve! These are gravel beaches overlooking the open sea, only accessible to a public of hikers or savvy. Access to these coves requires a good pair of sneakers and a safe foot but on arrival, you are really rewarded ...

❤️ We like: Few people on the beach, for thrill seekers (possibility of jumping from a 9 meter rock), ideal for snorkelling (diving with mask, snorkel and fins).

Ile des Embiez (20 minutes on foot from the Bastide, then 12 minutes by boat)

Island tour 6 km - 1h30 to 2h on foot - 40 min by small train

Here no deckchair or bar on the coves and beaches of the island!

8 main beaches and coves border this little jewel of the Mediterranean, but one cove can hide another, nothing prevents you from discovering your secret corner in the hollow of the rocks… All of them more wild and preserved than each other , there are has something for everyone: small, sheltered, in the rocks ... mainly composed of sand and gravel that drain water from the sea to give it a translucent appearance.
Be careful some coves deserve, be careful when going down the paths.
❤️ we like : A paradise for swimming in crystal clear water, relaxing or practicing snorkeling (diving with mask, snorkel and fins).
